I was blessed with the opportunity to create the album and then the album art for Drue Davis' solo venture, 

"Magic Man & the Beat Machine"

I've been a very avid hip hop fan and lover of music for most of my life and to be able to do art for a musician is a huge accomplishment for me! There are times that as an artist you are tasked with doing work that may not appeal to your sensibilities, but this is another example of how fortunate I have been as of late to get projects I am completely in love with. I heard this album before I got into designing it and it filled me with an energy that made me want to be creative. Drue's vision coupled with my flavor brought this bad boy to life and I couldn't be happier!  Stay tuned to find out where to buy this album online!

Gotta Catch'em All!

This is probably the brightest piece I have EVER done..... I figured since I was going to be drawing so many characters, I'd design the layout as though it would be a gatefold cover. Needless to say this was a challenge, doing this many characters that I'd never drawn before.

The more I draw, the more I want to challenge myself to do things I think I can't or aren't good at. I want to make my own book (it's written and is almost fully illustrated) and I remembered doing this piece since it has a similar whimsical air to it. I figured this would be a great piece to practice on to get myself ready for that. I got the logo from www.gamingbus.com so shout out to them for having such a good copy of the logo.

The Stray?

Vito Delsante was recruiting artists to auction off their art for Stubby Dogs. "StubbyDog is working to bring an end to prejudice and discrimination against pit bulls."  You can find them at https://www.facebook.com/stubbydogs I decided to show a happy Pitt in the costume of Vito's successful kickstarter, The Stray, to celebrate both his success and their desire to do something good for the misunderstood dogs.
