"A Reason to Smile!", previews and orders

"A Reason to Smile!" is now 2 months old and ready for your bookshelf! The story is about a little girl who is a walking silver lining. She loves to people watch while enjoying her city and every once in a while she gets to help people out. Like most problems, they don't go away but they find an easier way to handle them by working together.

The book is a 60 page hardcover book with 44 pages of story (the first 18 which you can preview here) and 16 pages of behind the scenes information, promotional images, and a short story with art contributed by other industry professionals.

If you'd like a copy of this story send $26 via paypal.com to thelearningcurv@gmail.com with your mailing address and it will be there ASAP!

I have lived in this wonderful city of NYC since my early childhood and am proud to be a New Yorker. It's served as the supporting character for a lot of art I've done throughout the years and I felt the need to share some of those pieces with you.

Spidey 2011

Spider-man Chases the Cat
Rockerfeller Center

Every year I create a full color illustration of Spider-man, using him as an excuse to enjoy drawing my favorite character and my favorite city, NYC.  This was the image I created toward the end of 2011 and I think it it's my most accomplished image to date.

Here are my illustrations of years past:

2010
Union Square

2009
41st St. & 7th ave

2008
40th St. & 5th Ave.

2007
44th St. & Vanderbilt Ave.

November 2006
Grand St. & Eldridge St.

September 2006
21st St. & 5th Ave.

I may start up my Wonder Woman Wednesdays again.
That use to be a fun theme too, and great for practice.
